Imperial Cities of Morocco

Upon arrival at Casablanca Mohammed V Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy an optional visit to the Hassan II Mosque, one of the world’s largest mosques, majestically overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

After breakfast, depart for Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital and one of the country’s four Imperial Cities. Visit the Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas overlooking the Atlantic. Stroll through the Andalusian gardens and the UNESCO-listed old medina before heading to your hotel.

Travel along Morocco’s scenic Atlantic coast toward Tangier. Stop in Larache, a charming fishing town, and Asilah, famous for its whitewashed medina and colorful murals created by local artists. Arrive in Tangier, the “Gateway to Africa,” where Mediterranean charm meets Atlantic energy.

Explore Tangier’s highlights on a guided day trip. Visit Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and the legendary Caves of Hercules, rich in myth and history. Continue to the Tangier Medina, with its bustling souks, Kasbah Museum, and panoramic views over the Strait of Gibraltar.

Drive south to Tetouan, the “White Dove,” known for its Andalusian influence and UNESCO-listed medina. Continue through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the iconic Blue Pearl of Morocco. Enjoy free time to wander the blue-painted streets, relax in cozy cafés, and soak in the serene mountain atmosphere.

Venture into the Akchour Valley, one of Morocco’s hidden natural treasures. Hike along scenic trails to the Akchour waterfalls, surrounded by lush vegetation and red rock canyons. Enjoy a picnic by the river or a traditional Moroccan lunch in a local restaurant. Return to Chefchaouen in the afternoon.

Explore Fes, Morocco’s oldest Imperial City and cultural capital. Visit the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasas, the University of Al Quaraouiyine, and the traditional tanneries. Wander through the labyrinthine souks of Fes el-Bali, where artisans craft leather goods, brassware, and fine ceramics.

After breakfast, journey back to Casablanca, stopping in Rabat for lunch and a final stroll along the city’s oceanfront. Arrive in Casablanca in the evening for your last night in Morocco.
