10 days in Morocco

Upon your arrival at Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, you will be welcomed and transferred to your accommodation. After settling in, enjoy your first afternoon in Morocco by visiting the majestic Hassan II Mosque, which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and is one of the largest mosques in the world. In the evening, savor a dinner at a local restaurant to experience the delicious Moroccan cuisine.

In the morning, depart for Rabat, the capital of Morocco, located about an hour’s drive away. Visit key sites such as the Royal Palace, the exotic Bouknadel Gardens, and the Hassan Tower. After exploring Rabat, continue your journey to Chefchaouen, the city with its blue-painted walls, with a drive of approximately four hours. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and stroll through the charming streets of the medina.

Begin the day by exploring Chefchaouen and discovering its artisan shops. Next, head to Volubilis, stopping at the remarkable Roman ruins listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites for a captivating visit. Afterward, proceed to Meknes, just 30 minutes away, and explore the medina and the Bab Mansour gate. Finally, make your way to Fez, where you will spend the night.

Today, you will embark on a full day of travel to Merzouga, with several interesting stops along the way. After leaving Fez, your first stop will be in Midelt, followed by Azrou to experience the cedar forest. Continue on to Ifran, often referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco,” and enjoy picturesque views. In the evening, arrive in Merzouga and check into a desert camp in the Erg Chebbi.

This morning, take a 4×4 excursion to the village of Khamlia, famous for its Gnaoua music. After that, enjoy a camel ride through the desert dunes, where you can admire breathtaking landscapes. In the afternoon, participate in various activities in the desert before enjoying a traditional dinner and witnessing a music performance around a campfire under the stars.

After breakfast, set out for a day of exploration. Visit the ancient khettaras, a traditional irrigation system, before heading to the stunning Todra Gorge for a hike. In the afternoon, continue to the Dades Valley, renowned for its picturesque landscapes and unique rock formations. You will spend the night in a comfortable hotel located within the Dades Gorge.

Today, you will leave the Dades Gorge heading toward Marrakech, stopping in the beautiful Rose Valley. Continue on to Ouarzazate and visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After an enriching visit, continue your route to Marrakech, where you’ll check into your hotel for the night.

This morning, immerse yourself in the exploration of Marrakech with a guided tour through the bustling medina. Your local guide will show you the highlights, including the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you will encounter street performers, vendors, and charming food stalls. You will also visit iconic sites such as the Bahia Palace, the Majorelle Garden, and the vibrant souks, where you can purchase handmade souvenirs. In the afternoon, relax or enjoy a coffee at one of the many traditional cafés. In the evening, indulge in a unique experience with a romantic dinner in the Agafay Desert. Enjoy a candlelit meal under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of local drumming, creating a magical ambiance for your last night in Morocco.
