Take on an exhilarating 7-day journey from the bustling city of Casablanca to the enchanting Sahara Desert. This immersive tour takes you on a captivating adventure through Morocco’s diverse landscapes, cultural treasures, and ancient traditions. Witness the breathtaking beauty of the Atlas Mountains, explore the labyrinthine streets of Marrakech’s medina, and marvel at the ancient Kasbahs of Ait Benhaddou.
Experience the magic of spending nights under the starlit sky in traditional desert camps, ride camels across vast sand dunes, and indulge in authentic Moroccan cuisine. This unforgettable journey promises an unforgettable blend of adventure, culture, and natural wonder.
Our driver will pick you up from Casablanca airport. We will have a quick city tour of Casablanca (Hassan II Mosque), and we will drive you to Marrakech. You will have the opportunity to explore this city on your own. We stay in a local Riad.
Today we will have a private guided tour of the Medina of Marrakech with an official guide. You will see the famous Koutobia Mosque, the medina and its souks, and we will explore even more of the secrets of Marrakech. Medrassa Ben Youssef, the Saadien, the Bahia Palace and the Majorelle Gardens. we also spend this night in a local Riad in the Medina.
We leave Marrakech and cross the Tizi n Tichka pass of the High Atlas mountains. We will visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site at Ait Ben Haddou. We continue to explore the Dades Valley and its famous gorges and we arrive at the Dades Gorges and we will have dinner and overnight in a local riad.
After breakfast, we visit the Todgha gorges, the most impressive canyon in Morocco. Then we head towards Erfoud and Rissani, and in the afternoon we arrive at a charming desert hotel located in Erg Chebbi where you will have dinner.
Today you will have the day to explore the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert. You will visit a local musical village, Khamlia, and enjoy tea with a nomadic family. Then we get ready for a camel trek in the desert. We will stop to watch the sunset and enjoy dinner under the stars in Berber tents where we will also spend a night with dinner.
After an early wake-up, we will watch the sunrise and go on a camel trek back to the hotel. Afterwards we will head towards the Ziz valley and the Middle Atlas mountains. We pass Midlet, Ifrane the “Switzerland of Morocco”. And finally we will be dropped off at our Riad in Fez with dinner.
You will explore the UNESCO-protected Medina of Fez with an official guide. The medina of Fez is the oldest and most beautiful in Morocco and declared a world heritage site. The University of Fez is the oldest in the world. We will also visit the tanners and discover a terrace overlooking the tannery. At the end of the afternoon, we will head towards Casablanca and this will be the end of our service. Shuttle to the airport at the agreed time.
