Day 1Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Ounila Valley – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Agdez

Departure from Marrakech towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m), offering stunning views of mountain landscapes and Berber villages. Continue along the Ounila Valley, a scenic route through traditional villages and authentic countryside.

Visit the legendary Kasbah of Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, then continue to Ouarzazate, famous for its film studios and known as the gateway to the desert. Drive on to Agdez, following the first palm groves of the Draa Valley. Arrival in Agdez, check-in, dinner, and overnight in a charming accommodation in the heart of the oasis.

Day 2Agdez – Draa Valley – Zagora – M’Hamid – Erg Chegaga Desert Camp

Departure from Agdez towards the magnificent Draa Valley, one of the largest palm groves in Morocco, dotted with ksour and traditional kasbahs. Pass through Zagora, a former caravan stop and gateway to the Sahara.

Continue to M’Hamid, the last village before the vast Saharan expanses, then enjoy an off-road 4×4 adventure through tracks and dunes to the Erg Chegaga Desert. Upon arrival, settle into a desert camp in the heart of the dunes. Enjoy a camel ride at sunset, followed by a traditional dinner and a magical night under the star-filled Saharan sky.

Day 3Erg Chegaga – Tata (via Lake Iriki & Foum Zguid)

After sunrise, depart from the Erg Chegaga camp and cross the vast desert landscapes of the dried Lake Iriki, offering wild, lunar scenery. Continue off-road across hamadas and regs to Foum Zguid, the gateway to the Anti-Atlas.

After a short break, continue towards Tata, passing through contrasting desert scenery with green oases, rocky mountains, and traditional villages. Arrival in Tata in the late afternoon, dinner, and overnight in a charming local accommodation.

Day 4Tata – Tafraout (Exploring the Anti-Atlas)

Departure from Tata for a full day dedicated to discovering the spectacular landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. The road winds through arid mountains, impressive gorges, and isolated oases, offering striking and authentic panoramas.

Arrival in Tafraout, nestled in a unique setting of pink granite rocks and green valleys dotted with almond trees and Berber villages. Free time to explore the area, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and admire the iconic rock formations. Dinner and overnight in a charming hotel or guesthouse in Tafraout.

Day 5Tafraout – Legzira – Sidi Ifni – Mirleft

Departure from Tafraout towards the Atlantic Ocean, crossing the contrasting landscapes of the Anti-Atlas. Stop at the spectacular Legzira Beach, famous for its natural rock arches and ochre cliffs plunging into the Atlantic—an ideal spot for relaxation and photography.

Day 6Mirleft – Tiznit – Inoumar – Taroudant

Departure from Mirleft towards Tiznit, renowned for its silver jewelry craftsmanship and historic ramparts. Walk through the medina to discover traditional jewelers and local ambiance.

Continue to Inoumar, passing through picturesque rural landscapes and typical Berber villages, offering insight into authentic local life. Proceed to Taroudant, often called the “Little Marrakech” for its impressive ramparts and lively souks. Arrival in the late afternoon, check-in at a hotel or riad, dinner, and overnight in Taroudant.

Day 7Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira

Day 8Essaouira – Free Day

A full free day in Essaouira to fully enjoy this charming coastal city. Stroll through the UNESCO-listed medina, explore historic ramparts, art galleries, and local craft shops.

Relax on the beach, taste fresh seafood specialties in local restaurants, or simply soak up the peaceful seaside atmosphere that makes Essaouira so special. Overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 9Essaouira – Marrakech (Afternoon Transfer)

Departure from Essaouira in the early afternoon for the return journey to Marrakech. Enjoy the varied landscapes of the Atlantic coast and the Souss plains along the way.

Upon arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon, transfer to your hotel or riad. This marks the end of your tour organized by Amodo Tours. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a final evening in the Red City before your departure.
