5 day desert tour from Marrakech

Day 1Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Ouarzazate - Rose Valley - Dades Valley

Depart from Marrakech in the morning and travel across the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, passing traditional Berber villages and enjoying breathtaking mountain scenery. Continue through Ouarzazate before reaching the beautiful Rose Valley, famous for its rose fields, traditional villages and scenic landscapes. The journey then continues to the Dades Valley, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Erfoud - Merzouga

After breakfast, travel toward the impressive Todra Gorge, where you will have time to explore the dramatic cliffs and enjoy a short walk. Continue through Tinghir and Erfoud before reaching Merzouga. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes and admire a spectacular Sahara sunset. Dinner and overnight at a desert camp.

Day 3Merzouga & Erg Chebbi Desert Experience

Spend the day discovering the surroundings of Merzouga and the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes. Explore Saharan landscapes, traditional villages, and local culture while enjoying plenty of time to experience the peaceful atmosphere of the desert. Overnight in the Merzouga area.

Day 4Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Nkob - Draa Valley - Agdz

After breakfast, depart toward Rissani and continue through the desert landscapes of Alnif and Nkob. The journey then takes you into the beautiful Draa Valley, famous for its extensive palm groves, traditional earthen villages, and historic kasbahs. Arrive in Agdz in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in a charming accommodation.

Day 5Agdz - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou - Telouet Valley - Marrakech

After breakfast, depart from Agdz and travel through Ouarzazate to the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where you will have time to explore this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage site. Continue through the scenic Ounila and Telouet valleys, passing traditional villages, mountain landscapes and historic kasbahs before crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Arrival in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
