Day 1Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Aït Ben Haddou – Draa Valley – Zagora Desert

Depart early in the morning from Marrakech in a private vehicle and cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m). Along the way, admire traditional Berber villages and enjoy photo stops in stunning mountain landscapes.

Arrive at the famous Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its earthen architecture and appearances in blockbuster movies. After your visit, continue toward Ouarzazate, also known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”

In the afternoon, drive through the Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest valley, famous for its endless palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and authentic Berber culture. By late afternoon, you will reach Zagora, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.

From here, embark on a camel trek at sunset across the golden dunes of Zagora. Upon arrival at your traditional Berber desert camp, enjoy a typical Moroccan dinner, live music, and an unforgettable night under the starry Sahara sky.

Day 2Zagora Desert – Draa Valley – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a magical Sahara Desert sunrise over the dunes of Zagora. After breakfast at the camp, ride your camel back to Zagora, where your driver will be waiting.

Begin the return journey through the Draa Valley with its ksour (fortified villages) and scenic landscapes, passing again through Ouarzazate before crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening with lasting memories of your 2-day Zagora Desert Tour.
